Chelsea fans were in for a treat on Sunday afternoon as the Blues went on a scoring spree against Wolves, trouncing them 6-2! The star of the show was none other than Noni Madueke, who bagged a stunning hat-trick!
The match got off to a thrilling start with Chelsea’s N. Jackson scoring in just the second minute, but Wolves quickly equalized through M. Cunha. C. Palmer then regained the lead for Chelsea with a goal in the 45th minute, but J. Strand Larsen struck back in the dying seconds of the first half, making it 2-2 at halftime.
However, the second half belonged entirely to Chelsea as N. Madueke went on a goal-scoring rampage, netting three goals in just 14 minutes!
Newly-signed J. Félix also got in on the action, scoring in the 80th minute and sealing the win for Chelsea.
Interestingly, it was C. Palmer who provided all three assists for Madueke’s hat-trick, making him an unsung hero of the match.
