The Kwara State Football Association (KWSFA) has announced stringent measures to enforce regulations governing football administration in the state. Clubs and affiliated bodies that fail to comply with the rules will face severe penalties, including the annulment of competitions, suspension, revocation of licenses, and fines.
In a memorandum signed by Mohammed Agaka, the association’s secretary, KWSFA emphasized that all football competitions within Kwara State must have explicit approval from the association. The move aims to ensure fair play and adherence to FIFA rules.
The KWSFA has also notified relevant authorities, including the police and the state government, to support the enforcement of these regulations. This decisive action underscores the association’s commitment to maintaining the integrity of football administration in Kwara State.
