President Bola Tinubu has called for a comprehensive investigation into the tanker explosion that led to multiple accidents and fatalities in Karu, Abuja, on Wednesday night.
Expressing condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the tragic incident, the president also directed that injured victims receive urgent medical attention across various healthcare facilities in the capital.
He instructed security agencies, particularly those responsible for road safety, to intensify monitoring of traffic at Abuja’s key entry and exit points to prevent similar occurrences.
In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu prayed for the souls of the departed and urged divine comfort for the grieving families.
