Saudi Pro League powerhouse Al-Hilal are stepping up their pursuit of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, with new head coach Simone Inzaghi reportedly endorsing the potential transfer.
Osimhen, who spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, is set to return to Napoli but is widely expected to depart the Serie A side permanently this summer. Despite interest from several top European clubs, Al-Hilal are pushing ahead in their efforts to sign the Super Eagles star.
Osimhen has a release clause of approximately €75 million in his current Napoli contract.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the development on Wednesday via X (formerly Twitter), noting that Al-Hilal remain keen on Osimhen and are in ongoing talks, with Inzaghi now giving the move his approval.
