Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has lost his wife, Patience Umo Eno. The news was confirmed by the state Commissioner for Information, Ini Ememobong, in a statement released early Friday morning.
Mrs. Patience Umo Eno passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024, in a hospital, surrounded by her family. The cause of her death has not been disclosed, but it was noted that she had been battling an illness.
Governor Eno expressed his deep sorrow over the loss and extended his gratitude to those who have supported his family during this difficult time. He assured the people of Akwa Ibom that despite this personal tragedy, his commitment to the state’s governance remains unwavering.
“The family submits to the will of the Almighty and asks for the prayers and support of kind-hearted individuals during this difficult time,” Ememobong stated.
