The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ojuekun/Zarumi Ward has announced the indefinite suspension of two members, Alhaji Shehu Babaoyo and Mrs. Kudirat Adelodun, citing disloyalty and inconsistency in their party activities.
According to a statement signed by the ward leadership, the decision was reached following a meeting between the party elders and executives, where both members were invited to address concerns regarding their commitment to the party. The outcome of the meeting led to their indefinite suspension from the party.
In addition to the suspension, Mrs. Kudirat Adelodun, who serves as the ward’s organizing secretary, has been instructed to hand over all party properties in her possession to the ward chairman, Mall. AbdulRauf Atata.
The statement, co-signed by key ward officials including Mall. Saka Salihu (General Secretary), Alhaja Iyabo Alakuko (Vice Chairman), Hon. Babatunde Ateeka (Youth Leader), Alhaja Rasheedat Amoke (Woman Leader), and AbdulQodir Khalifah Olowo (Treasurer), emphasized that Ojuekun/Zarumi Ward will not tolerate disloyalty from any member.
The action has also been communicated to Alhaji Sulaiman Tejidini, the APC Local Chairman of Ilorin West.
