Prominent oil magnate and philanthropist, Prince Arthur Eze, has showered glowing praise on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing him as “God’s gift to Nigeria” and a unifying force the country urgently needs.
Eze, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Atlas Oranto Petroleum, made these remarks in a soon-to-be-released State House documentary commemorating President Tinubu’s second year in office.
According to the Anambra-born businessman, President Tinubu embodies a rare blend of courage, humility, and reform-driven leadership that the nation requires during these challenging times.
“God doesn’t make mistakes. That man, Tinubu, was created for a purpose. God gave him the power to change lives,” Eze said. “Tinubu has no enemies. He is a unifier. He speaks with humility and honesty; that’s why we admire him.”
Reflecting on his own experiences, especially during the Nigerian civil war, Eze emphasized that President Tinubu has shown an unprecedented level of inclusivity, particularly towards the Southeast region.
“What Tinubu has done for the Southeast, nobody else has. He gave us the Minister of Works, the Minister of Science and Technology, and the Southeast Development Commission,” Eze noted. “This is an opportunity for the Igbo to unite with the rest of Nigeria.”
The businessman lauded the President’s commitment to national unity and economic reform, stating that the Renewed Hope Agenda is already bearing fruit despite the hurdles the administration met on assumption of office.
“President Tinubu came in when Nigeria was facing serious challenges. But he has shown wisdom and boldness. God gave him the ability to transform Nigeria for the good of present and future generations,” Eze said.
He urged Nigerians across ethnic and religious lines to rally behind President Tinubu in the interest of national stability and growth.
“He’s not a man of division — whether Christian or Muslim, he respects all. All he asks is that we pray to God and work together,” Eze added.
Concluding his remarks, the Southeast elder statesman offered a prayer for the President, saying, “May God guide Nigeria and President Tinubu. He gave him this power and will help him complete the job.”
The remarks are part of a wider tribute expected in the upcoming documentary, which profiles the achievements and leadership approach of President Tinubu as he marks two years in office.
