Renowned Ilorin-born broadcaster Bolaji Aladie has been honored with the Best Yoruba Language Translator Award at the 20th Annual Conference of the Nigerian Institute of Translators and Interpreters (NITI) in Abuja. Aladie, known for his proficiency in both English and Yoruba, was recognized for his outstanding performance in translation and interpretation.
A graduate of Linguistics and Nigerian Languages from the University of Ilorin, Aladie’s extensive experience in broadcast journalism and strategic communications includes hosting the popular radio show *Pade Mi L’Assembly*. His induction into NITI highlights his commitment to excellence in language services.
The conference, themed “Leveraging Artificial Intelligence for Enhanced Translation and Interpretation Practice,” brought together language experts from across Nigeria.
