A deadly altercation at a popular lounge on Ago Palace Way in Okota has led to the arrest of Kingsley Otti, a bouncer, for allegedly stabbing a suspected hoodlum to death.
According to the Lagos State Police Command, the incident occurred on Monday at approximately 3:30 am. The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, became unconscious after the stabbing and was rushed to Lagos University Teaching Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed that the corpse has been deposited at Mainland General Hospital Morgue, Yaba, for autopsy.
This incident comes on the heels of another violent crime in Lekki, where a sex worker, Joy Kelvin, allegedly stabbed a 48-year-old man, Okafor, to death.
The Lagos State Police Command is investigating both incidents.
