Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has pledged a surge in infrastructure projects for 2025, including the construction of the **Asaba International Market**, aimed at transforming the state capital’s aesthetics. During a site visit, the governor emphasized the importance of hands-on project oversight and announced plans for increased site inspections and project inaugurations.
The new market, a partnership with Efab Properties Limited, promises to revitalize the former Abraka Market site and boost economic activity. The government will provide the land while receiving 20% of the revenue, with Efab managing construction and allocation.
Governor Oborevwori also highlighted plans to repair and construct roads to enhance the city’s modern appeal, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to a cleaner, well-developed Asaba Capital Territory.
