Street-pop sensation Bella Shmurda has shared a raw and honest glimpse into life behind the limelight, revealing that fame has cost him his freedom and peace of mind.
Speaking in a recent interview with Channel Tweety7, the 28-year-old artist reflected on how stardom has changed everything—from how he moves to how he lives.
“I became famous at 25, and ever since, it hasn’t really been as sweet as people think,” he said. “I used to be freer when I was unknown. These days, it feels like I’m boxed in. There’s no privacy, no freedom.”
Bella also opened up about the silent weight that comes with being the main source of income for his family. “It’s not easy. I’m the one carrying most of the responsibility back home. There’s a lot of pressure that comes with that,” he said. “The money has to keep coming in, or I’m in trouble.”
Despite it all, Bella Shmurda said he always felt deep down that he was destined for greatness. “When you’re meant to make it, you just know,” he added. “That belief keeps you pushing.”
While his songs continue to top charts and his fan base grows stronger, Bella’s words are a reminder that even superstars struggle behind the scenes.
