The Federal Government of Nigeria has approved the construction of an airstrip at Canaanland, the headquarters of the Living Faith Church International, also known as Winners’ Chapel. Bishop David Oyedepo, the church’s founder, expressed his excitement over the development, stating, “I won’t need to fly a helicopter to the airport; I can go from here to anywhere I’m going.”
The airstrip is expected to significantly ease travel for the church’s leadership and members, providing a direct route for both domestic and international flights. This move is seen as a major step towards enhancing the infrastructure and accessibility of the church’s headquarters.
Bishop Oyedepo emphasized the positive impact this will have on the church’s operations and its ability to reach more people with their mission. The construction is set to begin soon, with the aim of completing it within the next year.
