The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has strongly responded to criticism from Alhaji Buba Galadima, who questioned Ganduje’s electoral value. In a statement released on April 21, 2025, Chief Oliver Okpala, Ganduje’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Enlightenment, defended his boss and labeled Galadima a “failed, rejected, and frustrated politician.”
Okpala highlighted Ganduje’s impressive political track record, citing his successful two-term governorship in Kano State and ongoing projects that demonstrate his commitment to the people. In contrast, Okpala pointed out Galadima’s lack of political credibility, referencing his failed affiliation with the Buhari Organization and current struggles within the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
The APC leadership remains confident in Ganduje’s leadership, emphasizing the party’s stability and influence under his guidance. Okpala dismissed Galadima’s attacks, affirming that Ganduje’s established influence continues to garner strong support from Nigerians, particularly APC members.
