Basheer Luqman Olarewaju, Executive Director of Kwara Express, has been selected for the esteemed 2024 PRNigeria Young Communication Fellowship.
In a statement released by PRNigeria, Basheer’s successful application was confirmed, paving the way for his participation in the inaugural Fellowship program.
The intensive 4-week training, scheduled to commence on October 2, 2024, at the PRNigeria Center in Ilorin, will equip Basheer with expertise in Strategic Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Fact Checking, Social Media, and Artificial Intelligence in Journalism.
“I’m proud and excited about this opportunity,” Basheer said. “I’ve always sought to enhance my knowledge and expertise, and this Fellowship will further deepen my skills.”
As a respected Executive Director, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, and Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) member, Basheer’s participation is expected to enhance Kwara Express’s communications strategy.
The Fellowship comes with benefits, including a stipend and membership in recognized professional bodies.
