Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has applauded the exceptional achievement of Sanusi Akanbi Kazeem, a 400-level mathematics student of the University of Ilorin, who recently completed a marathon mathematics lesson lasting 31 hours, 42 minutes, and 54 seconds.
In a statement shared on his official Facebook page, the Governor praised Kazeem’s courage, brilliance, and determination, describing the feat as a symbol of the “can-do spirit” that defines young Nigerians with dreams of global recognition.
Pending official verification by the Guinness World Records, Kazeem stands a chance of becoming the new record holder for the longest continuous mathematics instruction—an inspiring act that has already won him national acclaim.
“Whether or not Guinness World Records confirms this, Kazeem has already shown remarkable resilience and brilliance. He is an example of what is possible when young people are given opportunities and boldly take them,” the Governor stated.
Governor AbdulRazaq also extended congratulations to Kazeem’s parents, teachers, and the University of Ilorin for nurturing a student capable of such a globally significant performance.
The Governor’s message adds to a wave of support and admiration from Nigerians who have followed Kazeem’s bold attempt to etch his name in the history books through academic excellence and grit.
