Kwara United Technical Adviser, Coach Tunde Sanni, has called on stakeholders to remain patient and committed to the team’s cause, despite a disappointing result against Ikorodu City.
In an exclusive interview with Pristinegist Media on September 22, 2024, Coach Sanni acknowledged that the team’s performance fell short of expectations, but emphasized that progress takes time.
“The team is gradually progressing. We need everyone to remain committed and focused. I believe we will soon be in a better position on the league table,” Coach Sanni said.
He attributed the subpar performance to some players not replicating their training form in the match, but assured that he would address these areas for improvement.
Reflecting on Kwara United’s NPFL experience, Coach Sanni noted that home and away matches no longer hold significant advantages. “We’re prepared to face and defeat any team, whether home or away. It’s about focusing on the task and putting in the hard work.”
Coach Sanni expressed gratitude for the fans’ unwavering support and urged them to stay patient, reminding them that success is a gradual process.
“We will achieve our goals together. There’s no reason to panic. Whether we play at home or away, winning is the objective. Let’s stay united and work together.”
