Kwara United Football Club has announced the acquisition of 17 new players, bolstering their team with experienced talent from several prestigious clubs both domestic and abroad. The signings were unveiled at a press conference attended by General Manager Bashir Badawiy, Coach Tunde Sanni, Assistant Captain Kabir Mohammed, and Team Psychologist, Yomi Benson.
In a bid to showcase their determination to succeed, Badawiy detailed the impressive performance of the team in pre-season tournaments, where Kwara United was recognized as the best team in both the Value Jet and Governor Duoye Diri tournaments. However, he also highlighted the lack of adequate training facilities at home, stating that it was hindering the team’s full potential.
