The Executive Secretary, Kwara State Primary Health Care Development Agency (KWSPHCDA). Dr. Nusirat Elelu has urged Muslim Ummahs to embrace the exemplary leadership and virtues of the noble Prophet Muhammad (SAW) on the special occasion of this year’s Maolud Nabiyy.
In a statement made available on Monday, she described the birth of Prophet Muhammad as an event that reshaped human history, called on the Muslim faithful to take a cue from the prophet’s tolerance, generosity, humility, and modesty.
Dr. Elelu who further charged on harmony, preaches that unity is the key to getting Allah’s favor, mercy and protection, adding that everyone should use the opportunity to pray for the state and country as a whole during this hardship.
“As we celebrate the Eid-el-Maulud, I call on all Muslims to ensure that they uphold the love and tolerance this celebration signifies and also to continue to pray for the peace and prosperity of our nation as a whole and Kwara State in particular.”
She however congratulated the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji. Dr. Ibrahim Zulu Gambari (CFR). The Executive Governor of Kwara State and Chairman Governors Forum, Mallam. AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq for witnessing the joyous occasion.
