Nigerian Idol is back with a refreshed and exciting season, marking a decade of discovering and nurturing musical talents while keeping audiences captivated with electrifying performances.
Since its debut in 2010, the music reality show has provided a platform for aspiring artists aged 18 to 28. Over the years, nine winners have emerged, including Mercy Chinwo, Moses Obi Adigwe, Kingdom Kroseide, and the most recent champion, Chima Udoye, crowned in 2024.
This landmark 10th season, themed “Your Voice, Your Victory,” promises intense competition, powerful vocals, and unforgettable moments. Returning as host is IK Osakioduwa, while Omawumi Megbele and Ric Hassani continue as judges, joined by newcomer Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk.
The season will run from April 20 to July 13, 2025, with auditions and theatre-week episodes airing on DSTV Channel 198 and GOTV Channel 49. Live shows are set to begin on May 25, 2025.
