NYSC Corps Member Shukurat Temitope Ibrahim has paid the school fees of outstanding students after organizing a debate competition as part of her community project in Bolari East.
The debate brought together pupils from Kamara Primary School and Government Vocational Training Center, Bolari East, giving them a chance to express their views on the role of education in society.
Sulyman Ahmed (JSS 3) won Best Speaker in the secondary school category, while Isah Nasiru Shuaibu (Primary 6) came first in the primary category. Both students, along with other participants, received certificates, and their school fees were fully covered as a reward for their performance.
The Principal of Government Vocational Training Center, Mr. Usman Umar Shettima, commended the initiative, calling it a much-needed motivation for students. Kamara Primary School Headmaster, Mr. Haminu Ahmed Haruna, also thanked the organizers for their support.
NYSC Corps Members Haroon Muhammed, Patience Paul, Jonathan Joel, and Chidinma Cleopatra played key roles in making the event successful.
Beyond the competition, the debate was a life-changing moment for the students, showing how education and community support can shape a brighter future.
