The Ondo State Government has stepped in to mediate a brewing conflict between Okitipupa Oil Palm PLC (OOPC) and its host communities, following allegations of grievances raised by local residents against the company.
Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has initiated formal negotiations to address the concerns of the host communities. The state’s Attorney General’s office has been tasked with facilitating these discussions, ensuring a peaceful and constructive resolution.
