The member representing Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Muktar Tolani Shagaya, has announced the successful completion of several education-focused infrastructural projects across five schools in his constituency.
In a statement shared on his social media platforms, Hon. Shagaya confirmed the construction of new classroom blocks, the installation of solar power, and the provision of furniture at the following schools:
1. Mansigba/Okekere Junior Secondary School
2. Oloje Community Secondary School
3. Odore LGEA Primary School, Wara/Osin/Egbejila
4. Fata LGEA Primary School, Agbona/Elebue/Fata
5. Olola LGEA Primary School, Afon
He emphasized that the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen educational infrastructure and provide a conducive learning environment for pupils and students in the area.
“This initiative underscores our commitment to improving educational infrastructure and ensuring a conducive learning environment for our children,” he stated.
The lawmaker also expressed appreciation for the continued collaboration with the Kwara State Government, led by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, CON, noting that such partnerships are key to enhancing the quality of education in the state.
Hon. Shagaya called on community members and relevant government supervisory bodies to take ownership of the facilities and ensure their proper maintenance to sustain effective teaching and learning.
He reaffirmed his dedication to promoting quality education and urged stakeholders to work together to secure a brighter future for the next generation.
