Hon. Muktar Tolani Shagaya, the Member representing Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency, has launched his annual free registration program for students preparing for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WAEC) and the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
A statement from his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Basheer Luqman, confirmed that this year’s initiative will cover registration fees for 100 WAEC candidates and 200 UTME candidates.
Hon. Shagaya reaffirmed his dedication to education, describing it as a powerful tool for societal development. He emphasized that his continuous support for students aims to remove financial barriers and ensure that no child is deprived of the opportunity to pursue their academic dreams.
Having benefited many students in previous years, the initiative aligns with Hon. Shagaya’s broader vision for youth empowerment in Ilorin West/Asa. He encouraged students to take advantage of the opportunity, reiterating his commitment to fostering educational advancement in the constituency.
