Kwara indigenes serving in the National Assembly have appointed Senator Saliu Mustapha as the Special Patron of the Kwara National Assembly Staff Association (KWANASA).
The decision was made during a meeting between the association’s executive members and the senator in Abuja last Tuesday.
Led by its President, Mr. Liman Muhammad, the Association expressed gratitude to Senator Mustapha for personally attending the meeting, offering advice, and pledging support for the association’s goals. The President also lauded the Senator’s generosity in granting them an audience and his generous contributions during the interactive session.
“We are sincerely grateful to our Distinguished Senator, Saliu Mustapha, for making time to meet with us and offering valuable fatherly advice during the engagement,” the President stated. “We are proud to welcome him as our Special Patron and look forward to his continued support for the association.”
In response, the Senator welcomed his appointment and assured the association his continued support for its goals and activities.
Senator Mustapha’s appointment as Senator, representing Kwara Central in the Senate is seen as a strategic move by KWANASA to strengthen its ties with the senatorial office and further promote the interests of its members within the National Assembly.
