Rural dwellers, community and religious leaders, and other beneficiaries have showered praise on the free medical outreach organized by Senator Saliu Mustapha, representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly.
The outreach, which spanned the four local governments of his senatorial district, has been commended for its impact in addressing pressing health needs. In collaboration with the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Budo Egba, the initiative offered free medical services at various locations, including Oke-Oyi, Tanke, the Emir of Ilorin’s Palace, and Alapa, Asa.
For four days, residents received treatment for common ailments such as malaria, hypertension, diabetes, and more. Community leaders expressed gratitude, describing Senator Mustapha as a God-sent benefactor, with many beneficiaries stating the outreach had revealed hidden health issues and provided much-needed relief.
Alhaji Ambali Adebayo, Director General of the Saliu Mustapha Foundation, highlighted that the outreach is part of a larger plan to improve healthcare in Kwara Central, with more initiatives in the pipeline.
