Senator Saliu Mustapha, representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly, has announced plans to empower 200 youths across the four local government areas in his district with an intensive solar energy training program. This initiative aims to equip participants with skills in solar installation and maintenance, enhancing their contributions to the renewable energy sector.
Speaking to journalists in Ilorin, Senator Mustapha’s legislative aide, Alhaji Tunde AbdulKadri, highlighted that, in addition to the training, beneficiaries will receive essential tools to help them launch careers in the solar energy industry.
“This initiative reflects Senator Mustapha’s commitment to youth empowerment and sets a new standard for leadership and community service,” AbdulKadri said. He further assured that this program is part of the senator’s larger plan to improve living standards in Kwara Central through targeted empowerment initiatives.
