President Bola Tinubu has made significant changes to his cabinet, dismissing six ministers and nominating seven new candidates for the vacant positions. The ministers relieved of their duties include Prof. Tahir Mamman (Education), Uju Kennedy Ohanenye (Women Affairs), Mohammed Gwarzo (State for Housing), Jamila Ibrahim (Youth Development), Lola Ade-John (Tourism), and the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Betta Edu.
Among the new nominees sent to the National Assembly for confirmation is Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu, the wife of the late Dim Odeimegwu Ojukwu. This announcement was made by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, during a briefing with State House correspondents after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, presided over by President Tinubu at the Council Chamber, Presidential Villa, Abuja.
