Media personality VeryDarkMan (VDM), real name Martins Vincent Otse, has publicly distanced himself from threats made against human rights lawyer Femi Falana and his family. In a statement released on Wednesday, VDM declared, “I will never support any threats against the Falanas, and I’m willing to cooperate with Femi Falana to fish out those who sent the threatening messages.”
VDM emphasized his innocence, stating that he had no knowledge of the threats and condemned any actions targeting the respected lawyer and his family. He further expressed his readiness to assist in identifying and bringing to justice those responsible for the threats.
The controversy arose following VDM’s recent social media posts involving crossdresser Bobrisky, which led to threats against Falana and his daughter. Despite the backlash, VDM maintained his stance, praising Falana’s long-standing fight for justice and the common man.
Falana, who has been vocal about the threats, welcomed VDM’s offer of cooperation, hoping it would lead to the swift resolution of the matter and ensure the safety of his family
