In a statement released late Wednesday, Stanley Nkwocha announced that Nigeria’s Vice President has arrived in Sweden for an official visit, accompanied by Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang, Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf Tuggar, Minister of Communications and Digital Economy Bosun Tijani, as well as other key government officials and heads of agencies.
According to Nkwocha, the visit, undertaken at the directive of President Bola Tinubu, will feature high-level discussions with top Swedish officials. The Vice President is also scheduled to meet with Crown Princess Victoria and Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.
The talks will focus on enhancing cooperation between Nigeria and Sweden in areas such as information and communication technology, digitalization, education, sustainable transport, agriculture, and mining. The Vice President is expected to return to Nigeria on Saturday.
